L.R. Merriman is the nom de plume of a rather odd fellow who would rather you read his book than read about him. Fair warning.

As a child, Merriman dreamt of stepping outside into the night, gathering a stone, and carving words into the earth that caught fire — rising bright into the dark sky for all to read.

Merriman’s debut, The Truth Dancer, is his attempt to realize that dream: to let the Truth beneath all stories shine through without explaining it, without diminishing it by dragging it into the open and naming all its parts.

He resides in the United States but stubbornly agrees with the British that the correct spelling is “grey”, not “gray”.
